Rotary smart farm

Conceptual drawing

01. Technical Introduction

In the case of existing vertical farms, cultivation is 100% dependent on LED, but in the case of hybrid rotating vertical beds, sunlight is utilized to the maximum extent and LEDs are used only as a light source when needed, thereby reducing electricity costs, which account for 30% of vertical farm sales, by approximately 70%.
Multi-stage cultivation is also possible using 100% solar energy sources in vinyl houses, air dome houses, and glass greenhouses.

02. Advantages of Technology
  1. Since it is a cultivation method using solar energy, it is possible to cultivate various crops (in reality, it is impossible to cultivate crops that require a lot of photosynthesis when 100% LED cultivation is used)
  2. Cultivation and harvesting with minimal labor as the gutter (bed) is transported to the front of the worker, reducing the harvesting and moving route.
  3. or existing containers, the maximum number of cultivation pots is 2,500, but for rotating vertical beds, up to 4,000 to 5,000 cultivation pots are possible.
  4. Introduction of an automatic drainage system of check valve type (mechanical type, electronic type)
  5. By improving the cost competitiveness of agricultural products through the use of rotating beds, added value is expected to be secured for salads scheduled to be manufactured in addition to products currently being distributed.
03. Comparison with existing business items

Comparison of competitor business items  (Conventional vertical farm vs. Farmtory rotating vertical bed)

  • Existing factory-type fixed vertical bed
